Ecovative’s co-founder and Chief Scientist, Gavin McIntyre will be speaking at Opportunity Green in Los Angeles on November 10th. He’ll be sharing the stage with Oliver Campbell from Dell to talk together about sustainability in action, and how a big business can collaborate with young blood to make a difference.
Ecovative has been collaborating with Oliver’s team at Dell to develop EcoCradle® Mushroomâ„¢ Packaging parts for their server multi-packs. This has led to the elimination of thousands of plastic foam packaging parts.

Ecovative Named “Innovator of the Year” by Greener Package Awards
Ecovative has been named “Innovator of the Year” in the non-FDA regulated category of the 2011 Greener Package Awards. The data-driven “Innovator of the Year” award recognizes packaging that shows the most innovation for their category. Winners are recognized in Packaging World Magazine and at a special display at Pack Expo 2011, to be held this September in Las Vegas.

Gavin McIntyre, chief scientist and co-founder of Ecovative, will keynote the National R4 Conference of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Las Vegas on Tuesday, July 19.
The National R4 Conference is this summer’s meeting place for people within the business, government, and nonprofit sectors who want discuss market-based solutions for environmental issues. The conference is organized around four topics that drive the innovation discussion: Revitalization, Reinvention, Resilience, and Responsibility.
